Unique German lithographed block puzzle, paper maché with sound!!! 6 blocks with farm animals: cown, sheep, dogs, rooster, donkeys and goats. Each block makes the sound of an animal!! ca 1900
Each block is hollow and has a soundbox in it. They are made of paper mache and have a cord coming out of a corner! By gentle pulling on the cord, the blocks make the sound of an animal. 6 blocks: 6 different sounds !!! One cord has been replaced. The puzzle in very good condition! All blocks are in working order!!
Marked : 'made in Germany' 34 x 20 cm, 10 cm hoog / 13.4 x 7,9 inch , 4 inch high. One block: 10 x 10 x 8 cm / 4 x 4 x 3,2 inch .
Original closure of the box, with hook.
There is still a small piece of paper label on the bottom of the box. You can still read the name of the shop where it was sold. The rest of the label is gone.
Very good condition for its age!!!
