Lovely art nouveau bust by George Van Der Straeten. Normal slight age related signs of wear. Nothing serious! Signature: G. Van Der Straeten.
Belgian artist (1856–1941). Living and working in France from 1883 onward. Exhibitioned in the Paris Salons ' l’Exposition Universelle de 1900' .
He earned several awards, e.g. a silver medal at the Universal Exposition of 1900. Van der Straeten demonstrated technical mastery in his work.
