Exquisite and very rare antique art nouveau MontJoye, Legras St Denis
glass vase with enamel pattern of flowers in magnificent gilt bronze holder!
The holder is stunningly detailed with berries, scrolls and open worked at the
back! Slightly greenish transparent frosted glass, thickly enameled with iris.
An elegantly golden decorated top! Heavily frosted glass! Height: 6,3 inch / 16

The decor is found in the 'Legras Verrier' book but without the bronze case.
The anecdote: 'Mont joye' (= my joy) was the rallying call of the French king's
troops in the beginning of the 12th century.
The Montjoye/Legras company, situated in St. Denis, Paris, France started in
1866.
